Taken from the Facebook page of The Buccaneer Hotel in St Croix, this vintage Jump Up and Kiss Me Cocktail recipe is literally a vintage piece recently discovered among the hotel’s archives. It’s retro and Galliano reached it’s popularity peak in the 1970’s. If you are up for trying some that was popular before that, give it a whirl! How to describe Galliano? It is an Italian liqueur that is herbal and sweet with herbs like anise, juniper, musk yarrow, peppermint, vanilla and cinnamon.
Jump Up and Kiss Me Cocktail Recipe
- 1 oz Galliano
- 1 oz Cruzan light rum
- 1/4 oz apricot brandy
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Frothee* (1 egg white)
*If you know a good substitute for Frothee – or even what that is – let us know!
Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Fill a glass with ice, pour and serve.
