Bodegas Andreu Sole
There is a vineyard in the town of Guanica on the southern coast. The vineyard is open for tours in the Sunday afternoons until 5PM. They produce a young wine kept in wooden barrels for 3 – 6 months. They also have a wide variety of artisan liquors infused with fruit flavors.
What is most attractive to locals is the casual restaurant and hangout scene created by the family in their backyard and which is barely noticeable when passing by the road that leads to their vineyard. The restaurant opens Friday and Saturday nights until 1AM and during the afternoons on Sundays. It is highly encouraged to make reservations, as the place is very popular and has limited seating. Also, ask for the wine and liquor sampler.
