Guacamole is the best- it takes a hot minute to make and it is super healthy! I like it to be a spicy guacamole, but it is a very forgiving recipe, meaning that you can make adjustments or add and subtract ingredients and play around with it and it will still taste awesome. here is the version i use pretty regularly….
- 1 small red onion, roughly chopped
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, finely chopped, divided
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 4 ripe avocados, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tsp. of Caribbean Trading’s Fire Roasted Garlic Habanero Crushed Pepper Sauce
Combine all items together – stirring until you get to the consistency you like. Works just as well as a chunky dip as a spread for a sandwich.
