September 20th is National Punch Day and we here at Caribbean Trading Company are celebrating by mixing up a yummy Caribbean Rum Punch recipe to enjoy with Sunday Brunch this weekend. Caribbean means Rum and so we are planning a pretty basic rum punch drink that is sure to please…. Rum and lime are a great flavor combination.
Captain Tim’s Caribbean Rum Punch Recipe
Ingredients:

- 2 oz. Rum – light
- ½ ox. Lime Juice
- 3 tsp. Simple Syrup
- 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 3 or 4 ice cubes
- Lime Slices (garnish)
Directions:
Combine the rum, lime juice, simple syrup, bitters and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain over ice cubes in a small tumbler. Serves 1
** You can add grated nutmeg or some mint to this recipe to spice it up a bit. We will be providing both nutmeg and mint as options with our Rum Punch. Garnish with Lime Slices.
