Tropical Passion Fruit Cocktail

Satisfy your urge to hop on a plane to the Caribbean with this fruity passion fruit cocktail.  It is light and refreshing, and the passion fruit covers the taste of the alcohol and pairs nicely to make this delicious tropical drink.

Ingredients:

• 1oz peach schnapps
• 1oz rum
• 1oz triple sec
• Fill with passion fruit juice and a splash of orange juice

Direction:

Shake with ice and serve with a little umbrella

A Note on Passion Fruit:

Using fresh passion fruit is the best option for this cocktail.  To properly prepare, you need to separate out the seeds from the pulp which is most easily done by using a sieve to separate the seeds from the pulp. It is a little painstaking of a process, but totally worth the effort.  Also, passion fruit pulp can be frozen easily so it is readily available for the future.
