Puerto Rico Events September

While the tourism season winds down, and the kids are back to school, there are still many Puerto Rico Events September going on in September that are worthy of a trip and visit.  You will find that the beaches are uncrowded and the weather remains hot and sultry!  Here are some of the highlight Puerto Rico Events September:

Entire month of September: Ice Live A circus on ice! At the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan

September 1: Guajataca Salsa Festival in the Parque Municipal in Quebradillas. Salsa Festival

September 6-8:  Festival Lola Rodríguez de Tióin San German.  This festival is in honor of the famous Puerto Rican poet born in San German.music, food, and artisans.

September 7-9:  Fiestas Patronales de Salinas in Salinas.  A festival in honor of the town’s patron saint, the Virgin of Monserrate with music, games, and food kiosks.

September  15 @ 12:30pm: Bicycle Exhibition and Ride at the El Flamboyan Restaurant in Gurabo.  Antique bikes, food, music, and ride along the river in Gurabo.

September 15-21: 60th International Billfish Tournament at the the Club Nautico de San Juan.
Longest consecutively held big game fishing tournament in the world, held by. 30 countries are represented, among these France, Bermuda, St. Martin, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Venezuela and about 300 local anglers are expected.   nauticodesanjuan.com

September 20-22: Cabo Rojo Patron Saint Festival  at the Rebeca Coldberg Stadium, Rt 312 Km 0.2 in Cabo Rojo. The patron saint is San Miguel Arcángel (09/29). The festival includes music, games, parades and food kiosks.

September  21 @ 6pm: Zoo Nights at he Puerto Rico Zoo in Mayaguez.  Enjoy the zoo at night. Don’t forget your flashlight!

September 28-29: Coffee & Chocolate Expo at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.  The event will feature over 100 exhibition spaces, workshops, lectures, samplings,  and demonstrations by professionals in the coffee and chocolate industries.

September 27 – 29: Aguada Patron Saint Festival in Plaza de Festivales Carlos Ruiz Gonzales, Nativo Alers Ave , Aguada. This festivity includes several styles of music, food kiosks, contests and more
