A chichaito is a popular shot you will find all around the island of Puerto Rico. In smaller bars you will find it for as cheap as a $1 or even free during happy hours or promotions.

It is licorice flavored which hides the taste of the rum. It is quick, easy and will set you on fire!

How do you make it?

  • 1 part white rum (Palo Viejo or Don Q)
  • 1 part anise liqueur

Mix ingredients in a shaker with lots of ice and strain.

Mix these together and you have a Chichaito (otherwise known as a quickie)
