Our tropical floral honey is 100% Pure (no other additives, flavorings or colorings). It comes straight from the bees buzzing around the foothills of El Yunque National Forest. Did you know that Puerto Rico has some really special bees? It’s true! Our bees are descended from Africanized bees, but are not aggressive. They are different from American honey bees and are less susceptible to Colony Collapse Disorder. While bees suffered greatly after Hurricane Maria, they are quickly returning and there has been an increase in both beekeepers and organizations supporting them.
