This spicy mayo recipe takes it up a notch and is pretty much awesome on anything. It is actually a really great alternative for ketchup to pair with your fries. If you regularly put mayo on something, consider adding some spice to it. it is a great spicy option, and just makes any dish just a little bit more interesting! I’ve also used this instead of MayoKetchup on Tostones and it is just awesome!
Ingredients needed for this Spicy Mayo Recipe:
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Walk the Plank Jalapeno Crushed Pepper Sauce
We like the jalapeno heat in particular for this spicy mayo recipe, but the reality is that there are lots of other hot sauces that could be used. Caribbean Trading Crushed Pepper Sauces are a good option because they are flavorful and the thicker consistency that comes from crushing instead of blending really fives this dipping sauce of spread a little bit more staying power. Imagine these pairings:
Mango Medley Crushed Pepper Sauce smeared on turkey or pork sandwich
Smoked Chipotle Passion Fruit Crushed Pepper Sauce on a juicy burger
