We are through the worst of the hurricane season as we enter November and we begin to make preparations for the holidays. Puerto Rico is alive and thriving, with events ranging from the Rum & Beer Festival to Discovery of Puerto Rico Day to Thanksgiving. November 2-3: Isabela Has Flavor – Town Plaza in Isabela – Festival featuring food, handicrafts, music, and more.

November 3: Aguadilla on the Bay Fest at the Bayfront Area in Aguadilla – Annual festival with local artists, food, music, dancing, and more.

November 9-10: Gaming Xplosion Fest takes over the Puerto Rico Convention Center. NLA Star Darryl Dawkins will be in attendance to tip off NBA 2K13.

November 9-11: As a Veteran’s Day Weekend celebration, receive Free Admission to El Morro & Fort San Cristobal in Old San Juan and EL Portal Visitor’s Center in EL Yunque

November 12-18: Puerto Rico hosts 8th stop in the 11-tournament PGA Latinoamerica Tour, the PGA Puerto Rico Classic, at Dorado Beach Resort.

November 14-16 @ noon: National Troubadour & Artisan Festival in the Botanical Garden of Caguas

November 15-17: The Annual Platos Tipicos de Luquillo Festival, featuring games, food, live music and sporting events at the Luquillo Town Square.

November 16: Zoo Nights at the Puerto Rico Zoo in Mayaguez. 6pm. Enjoy the zoo at night. Don’t forget your flashlight!

November 21-24: Puerto Rico TipOff Basketball Tournament at the Coliseo. Click here for more info College teams include NC State, Tennessee, Oklahoma State and UMass, among many others.

November 23 – 25: Orocovis hosts the 12th Annual Festival del Pastel, which celebrates the Puerto Rican Pasteal – a traditional and iconic food of the Puerto Rican Christmas season.

November 28: Celebrate Thanksgiving Puerto Rican Style – with great food and family.
