This is an artisanal jam made in Puerto Rico. Acerola Jam is great as plain old jam with toast or use as a filling for pastry or a topping for cheesecakes, or make ice creams with it. Delicately sweet and sour, acerola cherries are small-sized fruits of Caribbean origin. These little known tiny cherries indeed are in huge demand for their exceptionally high concentration of vitamin-C and phenolic antioxidants.
