Our carefully handpicked collection of seven wrapped traditional tropical candy bars is a delight for anyone who wants to try some local candies: it’s in the Jibaro tradition! A long time ago, the Puerto Rican “Jibaro” was used as a native fruit by locals to create fruit delicacies. This tradition is continued today by many candy makers all around the island, who proudly produce this delicious assortment of Dulces Tipicos de Puerto Rico, also known as Traditional Candies. You can find these excellent candies at any fair or festival in Puerto Rico or in many of the souvenir shops and groceries.

Wrapped box of Dulces Tipicos de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rican candies), which are seven individually wrapped tropical candy bars made of Puerto Rican fruit in the Jibaro tradition. They include: Batata (Sweet Potato), Dulces de Coco (Coconut), Naranja (Orange), Coco Piña (Pineapple Coconut), Mampostial (Coconut/Citrus), Leche de Coco (Coconut Milk) and Dulce de Coco Blanco (White Coconut).

These assorted traditional Puerto Rican candies are made by a family-run Puerto Rican company that has been in operation since 1948. Known as pioneers in the making of these candies, they began selling these Puerto Rican candies door-to-door. Nowadays, these candies are known for their emphasis on quality and taste and are enjoyed by both locals and tourists alike!
