Standing water will cause staining. * Warm to 325°F (140°C) for hot foods. Freeze or chill for summer entertaining. * Cutting directly on any metal surface will scratch the finish. * We recommend that you hand wash your wood inserts and cheeseboards in warm, sudsy water and towel-dry immediately. Periodically apply an even coat of mineral oil to the surface with a soft cloth. Allow the oil to soak in for a few minutes then remove surface oil with a clean, dry cloth.
