A native of Luquillo, Josue resides in the lush mountainous rainforest where he farms and pursues his artwork and love of surfing on Luquillo’s famed beaches. As one inspired by his father’s artistic endeavors, he has worked for many years with bamboo and fire and strives to bring traditional Taino Indian symbols to a larger audience. All of the bamboo used is recycled from near his country home.
