Jaymee moved to the rainforest mountains in Ceiba, Puerto Rico in 1989, after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Florida International University. Oil paintings, pastels, illustrations for publication, and 3-D displays are some of the things created in my studio. As a full time artist I also became known for murals and custom sign work done over the last fifteen years. Most popular are rainforest and sea life murals.
Since Febuary 2007, EL Playero, a Hispanic newspaper in Brevard County, Florida features a column I write about artists in Puerto Rico. At the present time I continue to work towards the island’s art environment.
